Stage 1 ARP Head Stud kit

I'm currently inquiring parts for a Stage 1 block build. The block will be converted to 14 bolt heads. Would the ARP head stud kit for Stage 11 work for this configuration? I'm currently looking at ARP Buick V6 Stage 11 Champion Stud Kit #223-4203


Anyone have experience with this conversion?

The ARP stud kit for Stage 2 heads should work as long as you plan to run Champion heads.

I’m guessing the kit should work with the TA aluminum heads as well?

TA heads and GN-1 heads use different size studs.

You may have header interference with the bottom row of 3 studs?

Nick, does either head cause a great chance of interference? I’m not sure I’m fully following you.

If you plan to use 14 bolt heads, the bottom row of 3 bolts are below the 4th row as on stock heads.

You may have to notch the header flange for clearance around the 3 bolts/studs on the bottom.

Yes I do plan to have the block drill & tapped for 14 bolt heads studs. Might as well take advantage of the extra material in the deck.
