Are stage II heads available new from any vendor? Does TA make a set?

No, you can however, on rare occasions find virgin ones from private sellers (that's not a say a vendor might not have a set collecting dust somewhere), but usually, they (private ebay sellers)have no idea what they really have and try getting an arm and a leg for them. Relatively speaking, SII heads are pretty cheap (probably due to the low demand).

Do the TA heads compare to stage II heads? How much of a difference is there in air flow?

They're still available from GM. Last time I checked, they were $1300 per head bare.

Maybe. But the last time I checked they were still listed in GM's paperwork, BUT, when it came down to actually trying to find any. Vapor! IOW, nothing available.

I am pretty sure that they are not available from GM anymore.
Years ago Duttweiler told me that he basically picked up the last
batch of castings that were produced. If I remember correctly these were
produce by Dart and with the correct port work would flow more that 350 CFM.
These are the castings the Chapman used...

I have a set of virgin stage 2 heads in the garage.

This is wierd.

I gave my GM parts guy the part number for the Stage heads and the BMS hub. His reply was both numbers are good and they're still available. Maybe I should have him do a locate:p
