When using the Dutwillier oil pump on a Stage II on center there is no need to plug the holes for oil suction and suppply because there are none. Is plugging the holes in the timing cover benefical or a waste of time?? I was thinking there was a possiblity of sucking air at these locations???

Also anyone else using a stock 3.8 timing on a Stage II on center needs to weld up the area at the bottom of the cover under the CPS bracket motor side. There is an area where the cover is open to the block because of the cross bolt caps on front and rear.

Thanks

Steve,

Don't bother blocking the holes in the timing cover. There is no need since they don't go any where like you said.
