stall size for th400

10's here i come

i am looking to get a stall for my trans , about a 3500 stall but i dont know what size to get for the 400. I dont want to get a 3500 for it and have it only stall to 3000 because its ment for a big block or something. Is there any way to check what it will stall with the v6 com to the v8. How would i go about this.
