I just bought a 2800 10" L/U PTC converter. Its rated 2800 at O psi boost.
I was at the track yesterday and the most I could get it to stall was 2650. 2700 at 3psi.
I noticed my tune was pretty fat down low could this play a factor in the stall speed of the converter if the car is running fat?
My sixty footers were low 1.6's a couple of years ago with a 12" restalled D-5. Now they are 1.8's. The car seems to spool good. With the crappy 60' it ran 11.61 @ 115mph with 16 psi boost on pump gas.
Im also running a HD actuator that is on the low setting. Maybe this is causing my sixty foot times to suffer too. I was thinking about getting a boost controller to see if the spool up time will improve.
