stall speed

hi guys, just have interesting question about a convertor upgrade on my t type. i have an 84 hot air with all the bolt ons and a ta 49 turbo. i have a budget 2800 stall lu already but wish to improve on my 60 ft times. i recently came across a good deal on a true 3000 stall lu convertor and was wondering if this would be to much convertor for the street or the ta 49.

3,000 stall isn't too much for the street but shouldn't be needed for the 49. My dad's car with a 2,800 and TE62 spooled almost like stock. What are your 60' times? Is the car bogging? It sounds like your running rich down low or the exhaust is plugged.
