Start of hunting season today here in NJ 9/11/10

Its the start of fall bow...We got a nice cold from here on the east coast.. its earn a buck for the first month.. Im hoping to stick a nice doe this afternoon.:biggrin:. Anyone else ready for this yr????

I'm not ready but getting excited. I hung two more stands yesterday. Season does not open until Oct 1st hear. I won't start until the end of Oct most likely. But I'm going to go out one night next weekend for the duck opener. Did you get your doe?

I had my oppurtunity.. i shot right over her back, as she was on edge.. She ducked the arrow @ 35yds.. It was fun.. got my heart raacing.. glad it was a clean miss.. I never duck hunted before.. Id like to.. Maybe even goose hunt. there alotta them buggers around!!!

How are the pheasant numbers looking in your area this year? Its going to be a very depressing year here. Thank God for SD.
