Starter options

Does anyone know if the small design starter from a mid-late 90's 4.3 chevy work on our cars? Also is this the gear reduction type, or are they limited to vettes etc? Thanks in advance.

I know the corvette starter is the popular choice, but I have a new 4.3 starter on the shelf. That's why I was asking

4.3 starter wont fit it has the staggered bolt pattern for a 168 tooth flywheel

FLEETWOOD 94-95 (8-350, 5.7L)
IMPALA 94-95 (8-350, 5.7L)
ROADMASTER 94-95 (8-350, 5.7L)
ROADMASTER 96 (8-350, 5.7L), Sdn
That's what I used onthe Grand Prix from a 94 Fleetwood , high torque gear reduction and straight bolt pattern.
