starter problem?

it seems like my starter engages but then the inside of it spins, and the bendicts gear gets stuck in the flywheel, almost like the inside is stripped?


anyone ever encounter something like this

Sounds like time for a replacement. I think SETURBO has a mini starter on sale for around $75.

yeh, i figured as much....i just never seen a starter break like that
