1987 Regal turbo ltd / hydrogen injection
Experiencing good cold start but no starting after reaching normal temperature. (symptoms of trying to start but not turning over) Fuel pressure okay, injectors ok,
Symptoms prior to this was a huge backfire with loud BANG and blew far rear end muffler out I believe - now has holes in it. Sounds weird I know but looking for any answers from the pros. Thanks for any imput.

I just want to verify

The car turns over by cranking but will not start correct?

If so ther could be a number of items.

It does sound like it maybe heat soke of some sort

If you can test with a new coil and ignition modual

These will have these sorts of issues. Recommendation is to use AC delco not the after market ones.

After taht start cheking grounds, wiring, CAM sensor crank sensor.

If you have a scan tool check to see if you can see any rpms while cranking.

Ignition module or coil pack... likely the former... ohm the coil pack tower pairs front to rear.... should ohm out at 11-13 k-ohm... if that checks out, ignition module...

PS - what the hell do you mean 'hydrogen injection'???? you mean alky/methanol injection???

oh... btw.... ohm the coil pack towers HOT.... and, ummm, hydrogen is not water vapor... fwiw...

Might want to disconnect your "hydrogen injector" to remove it from the equation .
