Steel Crankshafts

I am in the process of rebuilding my 109 block over the winter and would like to put in a steel crank with the steel main caps. Are all the new steel cranks that are available the chinese forgings, and any one better than the other ? Thanks for the advice in advance.

They are from China. They can handle more hp than a 109 block can. No worries on strength.

You can still get American made cranks, but you'll pay for them.

Does anyone have any experience with a Probe Industries 4340 steel crank, Good or Bad ?
