Steering column disassembly

I'm trying to get inside my steering column to check on some problems I'm having. Nothing on my turn signal lever works anymore. I wanted to take a look at the contacts inside the column and see if something is messed up.
I've got the steering wheel removed but now I'm stuck. Can anyone walk me through what I need to do next?

This right here. These were the exact instructions I used to redo my steering column. Very good tutorial.
