I've been searching for a steering column guard and have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know where to get these? I'm looking for the kind that stays on and never has to be removed. Not the bright orange or red kind that you put on like a club after you park.

Thanks

Steadfast column guard.

Google search should find them.

Gray metal looks like crap fits okay and works excellent.

Put mine on 2 weeks ago but I bought it 3 years ago in the group purchase. :D

Does anyone know the website for Steadfast Guards? Google and Yahoo seaches turn up nothing.

My car came with one.....but....how do you get these things off? There was a time that i thought I needed a new ignition switch and it hit me that I didn't know how to remove this thing.

Simple you punch out the four hardened metal pins in the top nose piece that holds the thing together.

Small punch and a hammer should be out in 10 minutes. :)

Thanks

Was too embarrsed to ask about this one myelf.

So now I'm finally going to put it in.

Thank Guys..... Rear does crazy things:) :)

Yup, one side is dead ended so you would have to drill the pins out to remove it.

Might be able to pull them out if you could get a drill jammed in the hollow pin and then pull on them.

Doesn't look like much fun to remove but if it stops scum who cares. :)

Buy the re-installation kit just in case. ;)
