Last October, I found someone in my GN, they'd already popped out the passenger door lock and cracked open the steering column. If I had went outside a little later, they would have had it for sure. My insurance covered the door repair and their last registered price for a steering column, they wouldn't let me track one down. As of now, it's in storage, but I want to get it out, so I need to fix the ignition and column.

Will I need to replace the whole column? I'm hoping not, as the Canadian dollar goes down, it keeps getting more expensive for me.

That sucks man. Hard to say what the extent of the damage is but you may be okay with just the cosmetics. Hwever, it looks like the tilt lever may be bent at the base where is screws in? If it helps, I have this column repair component which goes for about $56 online right now. I can send it to you for $30 shipped if you're interested. It will have to be painted of course but it comes with at least some of the parts you'll need. Google "US165L" for more info.
