Does anyone know where you can get the internals for your steering column so that you can rebuild it? My tilt wheel is a little lose and always needs to be tightened up.

From what i have been told the screws just loosen up, if you have the specialty tools you can take it apart and throw it back together pretty easily.

Yea, you most likely dont need any actual parts. There are 3 (maybe 4) Torx screws waaay down in the column that have to be tightened up and youll be good to go. There is a very good writeup with pictures done by someone on another board (think an el camino board) that goes through the process step by step, very imformative. I cant seem to find it at the moment, hopefully someone will post it for you.

there is 4 inverted torq screws. tighten 2 of them then locktite the others and repeat. fairly easy job, just need to take half the column apart

FIERO!!! HA ha.... That is so so funny. However with all the joking aside. I am thankful for the link. I am also going to check for the El Camino link. Thanks for all the help. Anyone with a blue steering column or parts?

You gotta be careful not to drop the ball bearings that are held in with grease...Also id go buy the "HELP" kit that comes with the coke bottle shaped rack that pulls on the ignition switch its made from pot metal and its only a matter of time before it breaks..When it does you will have a very hard time starting your car...Youll turn the key and get nothing..
