Steering Wheel questions.

Hello, I just put this 84-87 (not shure what year it came off of) turbo regal steering wheel in my 79. I know im missing the horn trim ring (if anybody has one for a reasonable price I'd shure like to buy it, color dosen't matter) but after i put the wheel on I noticed this really ugly gap behind it that obveously shouln't be there. Am I missing another peice or are the 84-up coloums different from the one in my car? Any anwsers are appriciated. Thanks in advance and God Bless.

Yes, you are missing a large peice from behind the wheel. Columns should be the same.
