Here's the proper bleeding procedure. It came with my hydroboost when I first got it.

After bleeding the system can I remove the cap with the engine running to check the level?

What a difference no wine at all, even when I turn it to the very ends just a little hiss.
For me worth the money.

For sure. There’s a reason so many people are all about that PSC reservoir.

Glad it was worth it for you!

Yes Pricey
No more Tee in the line
Separate return line
Lot more fluid and filter

For the guys getting the PSC reservoir you need to vent the system
Unscrewed the cap Inside there is a brass vent with a fitting with screen and small ball bearing.
I drilled a 3/32 hole in the cap and then replaced the fitting and ball bearing.
This stopped the leak/overflow I had
Fluid level should be at least 1" below the top hot

Funny, mine came with a vent and I've never had a leak or overflow!

As did mine.

I know they sell a version with the cap vented and not vented because a lot of off-road guys use them and the PS fluid would leak at extreme angles.

I talked to PSC about the vented / non-vented. The vented cap is for off-road use at extreme angles and PSC told me it is not needed for a street car. The non-vented cap is what they suggested for the GN and is what I ordered.

For reference:
Non-Vented for street use: https://www.pscmotorsports.com/moto...v-8-25-hydroboost-resvoir-hose-kit-21349.html

Vented for Off-road use: https://www.pscmotorsports.com/moto...reservoirs-overflow-bottles/psc-sr146hor.html

Price is the same ($5 different if you want black) and the only difference is the vented fitting in the cap (the off-road version may not come with the silver hose kit and not the black hose kit which may need to be ordered separately. It can be found here: https://www.pscmotorsports.com/psc-hk2110-6-10-bb.html ). Again, PSC suggested that I use the non-vented cap. The sales / tech people at PSC was very helpful when I called. By the way, the silver fittings that come with the reservoir are only stamped "China". The fittings in the hose kit however are actual Fragola fittings and the hose itself is Continental.

Working on my conversion today so we'll see how it goes!

Good to know. And yes, the quality of the hose kit I was very happy with.

If you don't vent it then be sure to keep the level low enough to prevent it from over flowing when hot
Personally I think venting is the better way to go

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. Will report back and let everyone know if I have similar issues.

Can anyone post pictures of how they mounted their PSC reservoir? There are lots of old threads talking about it but most of them say to reference the pictures that were posted to the thread. Unfortunately all of those pictures are gone. Appreciate multiple pics and methods. Thanks!

I drilled some holes in the factory bracket. It has worked well so far. At some point I’m going to pay someone to fab something up and have it painted or powder coated. Someone with some metalworking skills should start making these for our cars. I’d pay for a decent piece.

Here's a PM I got from 1KWIKSIX when I asked about his setup which is on page one
HydroBoost requires the PSC reservoir to be vented in order to work properly.
I ordered my reservoir to be a vented model as was suggested by PSC .
So conflicting info from PSC
On the bracket I made one painted it flat black
I couldn't use the stock one because I have high pressure hose there ( My car is a 84GN) so I'm a little different
