Its been awhile since I worked on my GN but I believe I need a new water pump. The car has been sitting for a while and when I started it and shut it off I see anti freeze leaking around the pump.
I think I probably have to remove as much as down to the intercooler and pulley to get to the pump?
Are there any pumps better to install than others? Thanks

paul

It's a pretty easy swap. Once you get the air pipes out of the way visibility goes way up.

The only real trick that I know if is to be conscious of the 4 long bolts that hold the pump and the cover in place. If they're original and/or been exposed to salt or corroded internally, they can corrode to the cover and snap off.

Other than that it's just basic R&R
