I overheard some buick guys talking about stiffer sidewall slicks, and more or less debating on whether they are and advantage or not, I'm wondering if any of you are running them, and what you think about them- Mostly interested in launching the car off the foot brake, not trans brake-

we run radial slick's on the gallina's tta and hot air cars. 21 lbs. tire pressure. much stiffer side wall. works great! 4700 rpm's 25 lbs. boost launch's on stock motors. with the wheels up!

LV GN,

I just purchased a set of MT slicks with the "S" (stiff) rating. From your post it suggets that i should really air these things up and launch hard. With my regular slicks I usually run just 10 lbs of air. Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

i would start with about 18 lbs. and see where your 60 ft. goes. im no expert by any means but the more air you can keep in them the higher the mph will be. i would keep increasing till the 60 ft starts to go away.
