I blew the 10 amp fuse a while back. I replaced with larger fuse and it would blow with light throttle.

I replaced the coil pack and ignition module with a known working unit. I repaired a fray in one of the wires that plugs into the module (solder, shrink wrap, etc) and fixed one on the female recepticles in the module plug that was recessed. I used a 10 amp fuse and the car ran fine. Did a couple of burnouts and pushed the boost to make sure the car was ok. Worked fine so I decided to go for a drive. About 4-5 blocks don the road the car died at about 20 mph. 10 amp fuse was blown.

I swapped in a 25 amp fuse. Car ran fine. Tried to tune my alky. Car ran like a scalded cat. Didn't feel to safe driving too far from home while she had been acting up so I went home. Car died about 20 feet from the house. 25amp fuse was blown.

I swapped in a 30 amp fuse and drove the car into the garage where she now sits.

WTF@$#@^$#^!???   Why is this car doing this? What the hell else can I friggin' replace???  Have I done something wrong? All input is appreciated.

TIA.

MODERATOR: Please move this post to the proper forum. It was late when I posted and it ended up in the wrong area.

Thanks.

The only thing on that circuit is the module.

Goes through the C100 connector on the firewall under the wiper motor direct from the fuse box.

That is fed by the IGN switch which is fed by fusible link A.

I would not go higher than the 10 amp. fuse.

Trace the wire in the harness if possible in the engine bay back to the big C100 connector.

Try another module if you have one as well.

Resistance check on that wire to ground while wiggling the wiring with the battery + disconnected and module connector unplugged may tell you something as well.
