Mar 8, 2010 #1 O Onalky87 Member Joined Aug 2, 2009 Messages 1,116 My stock wheels need some serious work. The chrome ring is not realy that shiney as it should be and is rough and feels Like sandpaper. Is it possible to wetsand these then buff back or is it to late for them? Please help!!!!

Mar 9, 2010 #2 A aminga Chicks Dig the powerbulge Joined Dec 15, 2003 Messages 5,578 Sanding is way too coarse for chrome. You can try some tripoli or rouge compound on a die grinder and see if it cleans up.

Try the White rouge first and if your'e making progress keep going. If you're not try something coarser. I took a front bumper with some minor scratching and made it look new with just the rouge and about 2 hours time with the die grinder.
