hey guys,
i have an late model stock GN t3 turbo with the adjustable internal wastegate. i clocked the compressor housing to my liking. i put pressure to my wastegate to see at what psi the actuator started to open the gate at different rod lengths. right now, with the rod almost all the way extended, the gate is slightly open, and only barely starts to move the gate at about 10psi. for my use of this turbo, i only need to have 7-8psi. my question is, did my clocking of the compressor alter the gate being slightly open at that low of boost? also, will the gate open at larger psi yet settle down to that 7-8psi range? sorry if this sounds a little confusing
any other alternatives to controlling my boost without an external wastegate system?
thx a lot!!
