Just wanted to see how safe the stock trans is running mid to low 11's. Have you heard of people running them for very long running 11's? I just don't want to destroy the one i have if it's not possible to run 11's without it taken a crap. I'm just about to install a PTC 2800 converter and i don't want to waste my time if you think it could damage the converter if the trans craps out. Thanks

With a recalibration kit a stock one should last a while if it isnt hurt already. Deep pan and revised sump will be required.

The valve body kit is constantly upgraded and includes everything you need to get it working right, providing its not hurt as biton pointed out.The sump extension and bottom feed filter or the deeper pan and rear pickup will also reduce aeration problems at the pickup point .Give me a ring and ill set up you up with the parts if your interested.
