That is a catch 22 right there...which one are you going to want to replace when it blows up? lol
I ran a stock crank/caps with a girdle and there were still signs of crank flex when I pushed it hard enough. Went with a forged crank/stock caps and a girdle, no more issues.
Guys have gone quick either way, but I would work a bit of overtime and not skimp on on or the other. jmo.....
