Stock crossover

Here's a stupid question, are the pipe ends oval shaped. My DS is an oval.

They are supposed to be round. Mine were ovaled out also but I bought some used headers and a crossover that was in great shape and they were all round.

round , from over tightening of the retainer clamp bolts they can get ovaled

They are round. The Crossover pipe to exhaust manifolds compress the pipe to form a seal around it.
