Stock fuel pump with 25 pounds of boost...

My Dad discovered a leak in his fuel tank on his WE4, had a patch that he never knew about from the previous owner. He ordered a new tank and had a local shop put it in. So tonight he calls me and tells me that while they were doing this they installed a new pump since his old Walbro was very rusted and corroded.
Long siggghhhh... so of course they put in a stock turbo pump.

So now he has a stock pump in a car running 25 pounds of boost/alky, TA49 stock long block, 009s, hot wire kit, 3 inch THDP, Dutt Neck, etc...

What to expect? Im saying you better drop the boost back to 17 pounds cuz you will not be able to feed it.

Remove the pump. Get a deastchwerks pump and hotwire kit and be done.

With any injectors bigger than stock, it won't work

Rusty and corroded ??? hhmmmmmm.. Isn't the pump in GASOLINE .. Should have asked for the old pump to see.. Oh well its done... I'd get a new one from Racetronics now.
