Stock Header Comparison?

Hey Guys,

Would anyone know if a '84-'85(non-intercooled) GN Driver side header are the same as a "86-'87(intercooled)GN Driver side header? I was planning on getting my stock(driver-side) header welded, i have a slight crack right on one of the top flange and a friend of mines was going to give me his driver-side header, but his one is from a '86(intercooled)T-type, Are they different or the same? Thanks in advance guys, would really appreciate it.

Well, not quite, if you leave the heat shield on the
86/87, then the oil dipstick tube doesn't fit.
Don't ask how I found this out.

As 6 to go has stated it is the same except for the heat shield.
