stock HG users a quick ?

Those using stock head gaskets you are installing them dry correct?

Going to use ARP studs torqued to 85ft lbs

Then just some RTV on the intake around the water jackets right?

Install dry, cycle the studs a couple times, I use the Fel pro 96033 intake installed dry also.

Hey Russ

I have that intake gasket and the 1200. I assume you run a ported intake is there that much of a difference in the 2 intake gaskets or did you trim some of the 96033?

And you say put it on dry just some RTV on the ends or nothing at all?

Do the studs need to be retorqued after a few heat cycles.

I ported my intake and don't trim any off the gasket. I had to touch up my GN1s to be as big as the intake holes on that gasket A little in the corners but that's all. I don't retorque, I let it heat cycle a few times before I push it to settle everything a bit.
