Guys i have been busy getting the GN is tip top shape. Slowly but surely it is getting there. Having a good time and learning in the process. I need new tires. Sitting in the garage for the last 3 years ruined the tires. It has 225/60/15 on it now.

Will a 255/50/15 work on the front and not rub? Does it look good in the wheel opening .

Will a 245/60/15 look allright and work?

I want a little taller and wider tire than the 225/60
's are. The tire dealers have been of little help.

What size are you running on yours? Thanks for the help!

i have 235's on my stock 15" GN rims. not sure what profile they are but i have no rub at all. not even close to rubbing. they a Viper TR radial GT's (a Sears brand tire is was informed) which probably explains my traction problems. my neighbor runs a 285 low profile tire on 18's in the rear and im not sure what he runs in front but he gets a little rub but only in front, not the back. not much but he wont take corners hard at all.

Anybody run tires on there GN's. Please help a distressed soul here. I hate to take the path less traveled out of ignorance! What size are you running? Thanks

Hey,

I run 235/60 15 all the way around on my 87T. No prob. Have run 275/50 15 on rear. Using stock rims. Rear rims may be spaced out a little more, I have been told the alumunim drums on rear of T may be thicker than GN steel drum.

Good luck
