hi
i know the stock torque convertor's have d5 on them can you see that when its in the car? i took off my dust cover all i see on mine is the number 6 and k2 3f 025 stamped in it. i dont think its stock seems to have a lot of lag.

As old as these converters are now, the ID stamps on the outer shell don't mean much anymore.

That's because it's very likely that the torque converter has been rebuilt/modified. In the course of doing so, the internal configurations can be changed around in many different ways.

Quite simply, if your converter has the wrong ID and the wrong performance characteristics, it's probably wrong.
