Had a little fun with a friends (Dick Johnston's) 87 Turbo T (20,000 miles) the other day at the track. It's essentially stock including turbo, intercooler, injectors, and exhaust. Installed a 340 pump, adjustable fuel regulator, Caspers knock detector and Razor's incredible Alky Control. Also installed an old chip that I had laying around (Kenne-Bells Hot Flash) that was purchased in 1990. As soon as I raised the boost to 22#'s the tranny began to slip from first to second. The slip was moderate but there was nothing I could do but run it the way it was. On Drag Radials the first run was 11.99 with a best MPH of 113.26! Razor's alky was the primary reason for the cars incredible performance. This car has been run just a few times over the years and back in 1989 it ran 12.4 at 109 obviously without alky but with race gas, same chip, open exhaust and on slicks at a fast track in NJ (Atco Raceway).
