I see this is a little late, but can one of you tell me what a stock turbo is worth? I got a low mileage 86 stock turbo trying to sell. It came off a show quality car with approx 40,000 miles on it at time it was removed for an upgrade. This has been several years ago and its sat in a box since. Not sure if its worth trying to sell or if it will need a rebuild to be of interest to anyone.

I wa curious of the same thing. My t type came with a spare turbo and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it.

I could use a couple more depending on condition & price since they aren't worth rebuilding I'm only interested in good useable units. I generally like to have spares around to help customers out that can't afford new.

I have been paying $150.00 for the last two I bought . Will that work, assuming there is no shaft end play or smoke issues.

No end play. No smoke issues when it was removed years ago. Im not a turbo expert, but I work in a shop so Ill have one of the guys check it over tomorrow. Should be good but I just want to make sure its a fair deal so will get back to you. And I think $150 is fair.
