Stock turbo & Untouched Engine--DRAG TIMES????

Just looking for some signatures or recipes on how fast you guys are running a basic modded street trim turbo buick with:


STOCK TURBO, IC, ETC......pretty much an untouched engine excluding some basic bolt ons.

NO NITROUS OR ALKY

FULL WEIGHT CAR

WITH or WITHOUT STREET RADIALS......Not many run with 'em but just wondering??

The thread is about what order/direction of add ons. Quick'6'n KC replies to post and shares times as well as his sig his car's valve-covers have never been off. Check it out very informative tune ,tune tune Quick 6's ride was well into the 12's with a stock turbo and stock injectors. He's upgrade to larger turbo and injectors and is well into the11's teens I believe. Again check it out some good stuff. If I knew how to cut and paste I'd have posted it over here so you wouldn't have to search it out.

When my car was all stock with just bolt-ons it went 12.90@106 1.75 60' D/Rs race gas and race chip.

Engine never opened, 109,000 miles, a little help from Russ Merritt on the tune, a few bolt on's (SEE SIG) ran 12.8 at 111 with a real bad 60ft.

My car ran a best of 12.8 @ 103 on pump gas, knocking and retarding on the 2-3 shift.

Adding race gas and giving it a little boost (20 psi) My car went very consistent 12.20's@110 with only 1.80 60 ft's and it was a solid mid 14 second car when I bought it.

12.11@111.9 mph 1.66 60' ft. 3400# Low optioned car, daily driver.

Pump, reg, 009's, TH DP, ported TB + inlet bell, 22# boost, VP race gas, stickies, cheap scan tool, good weather

First and only time mine was at a track I got a 9.48 in the 1/8. My car is all stock except for k&N filter and 3" exhaust. It was also between 80-90 deg. that night.

First off and I don't want to come off as an a$$ hole but take that stupid KB Hi-Lo Pro Chip and flush it down the toilet. Call Turbo Tweak you will see a world of a difference with his chip. Trust me I had a KB Hi-Lo Pro Chip 100yrs B.C.

Mine went 12.02@109 on the stock setup with bolt ons and race fuel.
Boost was around 21# on that run.

Bad launch on 215-65's with 93 octane = 13.50@105

I know my car is a TTA instead of a GN but the valve covers have never been off and stock turbo never touched.

175,000 mile '87 Turbo T, original valve springs and plastic toothed timing chain

13.1 @ 104 on pump gas, but consistently 101-103 mph around 13.2-13.4 at Ennis, Tx.

3 inch THDP w/ open dump, FP reg, walbro 307 hotwired, conley's chip, K&N 9 inch cone, 37# injectors, more boost and 275 50 BFG DR's

funny story......my car has gone 13.2 at 106.......stock size goodyear street tires w/2.1 60'....non adjustable wastgate, 16lb. of boost....pump gas, no kr......exhaust, intake, chip....that's about it. funny story.....i rarely race my car, took the wife out to the track, she is 58 but weighs only 125. she says she wants to take it down....i say ok go for it.....she turns the above time.....faster than any of mine.....i need to lose some weight!!!!

At what boost? Using what fuel? And what chip?

All stock.. be happy upper 13's.

You can go faster than upper 13's with Pump gas, but you will DEFINATELY put your headgaskets at risk.

As I posted ealier, I managed a couple 12.8's on pump gas, but damn was it ugly, and I was pretty lucky I didn't have to tow it home from the track.

When mine was stock or should I say without alky or race gas, with the stock IC it went 13.7 at 102 with a 2.2 60' On street tires with a caspers thumbwheel chip.
