What does a stock rebuilt turbo cost to rebuild? Low and High?

I have seen posted prices on here from $300 to $700.00 for stk 86/87. Personally, unless required, the money would be better spent w/an upgrade. Just my personal opinion.

Post in the parts wanted section or maybe see if someone has a known good one for sale. If you need a new center section, you just as well buy a new upgraded one and call it a day. This is from personal experience.

Parts are roughly $100 then go to the how to section in the general section and there's a post that will show you how to rebuild it yourself unless the wheels are damaged.

Yeah I did the do it yourself route too and wasted a shit ton of money. Just send it out. I find it bullshit that you send your shit in to get balanced and no one tells you the center housing is shit. That was a good waste of over 200 dollars.

They are easy to rebuild, but for 300 bucks why bother spending all the time cleaning shit and all that crap. If you break it down most places aren't making that much money by the time you figure in the rebuild kit, cleaning, balancing, TIME, etc. Plus if you plan on doing mods, I'd just spend a little more and either upgrade the hot air turbo or get one already done from a vendor.
