I have torn my GN down for the winter, and am going to be performing several upgrades before spring (hopefully). I was plannin on running strange disks all round, and a manual cylinder, but have had some tell me that stange brakes aren't good for the street, is there any truth to that? I do plan on putting some miles on the street, but this car will mostly see the track. I've also heard that rear disks make spooling off the foot brake a problem, but I have a TH400 with t-brake, so I'm not worried about that. I just want to be able to stop the car safely, and if I can shed some weight at the same time, well the more the better-
I guess I'm looking for some testimonials on four wheel disk brake set ups you guys a runnin for race / street applications, and maybe what kind of $ and time I should expect to allocate to such applications-
Appreciate your input-
