The other day while doing some testing I noticed that the higher I turned up the pump speed on my SMC alky kit, the higher the EGT would go. It would seem to me that the more "fuel" I added to the equation, the lower the EGT should go, but not in this case??? Is there any good reason(s) why the EGT is actually going up with the addition of alky instead of down? One of my buddies thought that maybe it was caused by an over abundance of alky burning off in the exhaust system thus causing the EGT to go up...any other ideas? Odd thing is, the O2 voltage was not going up as well, if anything it was going down or staying the same...strange but true!

The 0-2 readings are going down because excess alchy is displacing oxygen in the intake. Less oxygen in the intake means lower 0-2 numbers.

How much alchy do you flow in 12 seconds? At say 3/4 pump speed?
