My neighbor has a '27 Dodge with a Mustang II front suspension. However it is not a stock Ford suspension. The upper control arm bushings are 1.125" OD where the stock ones are 1.455" OD. Not knowing this, he ordered the wrong ones. However we cannot figure out what to order. Speedway is closed today but their website shows nothing like this. The dimensions for the bushing should be 1.125" OD by 1.05" length with a 5/8" shaft ID. Sounds simple but sadly it's not.

When I removed the suspension, I noticed the bushings were not in a shell, just slid inside the control arm with a center flange. All the rubber was gone except for a piece the size of my pinky nail. He said it was driving really erratic and I can see why. It is not a show car but he likes to putt around in it.

If anyone knows where I can get 4 of these bushings I would appreciate it. Also I need two ball joint boots. They were shredded too but the ball joints are nice and stiff and fairly clean.

Here's a pic of the control arm with some dimensions.

Check evilbay John. There's a bunch of bushings available for after market arms on it and that's where I got the bushings and sleeves to make my motor mounts.;)
