so i'm working on getting the motor out of my regal. There's a stud on the left side of the AC compressor with a nut on it. I believe the nut is a 14mm and for some reason my 14mm wrench is MIA. I tried cracking it with I believe a 9/16 (I can't exactly remember what I used) but the bolt is starting to strip. I tried some vice grips and that just chewed it up some more.

The pulley is on the compressor so I can't get a socket on it. You guys have any suggestions? I'm just a back yard mechanic so I don't have a ton of tools but i'm willing to buy whatever it takes.

There never was a 14mm hex nut or bolt on a GN?

The AC compressor retaining bolts and nuts are all 15mm hex.

The factory installed a 15mm headed flange nut in that location. I have a wrench i altered that I use to remove that nut. It's been ground to clear the a/c pulley
