1986 Buick T-Type
Location: Cedar Park, TX (Near Austin)
Asking Price: $19,500
Mileage: 41,000

Wife wants a new kitchen and I hate to put this car up for sale but gotta keep the peace at home. This is a super nice 86 T-Type (nicest one I have ever come across). One repaint (completely documented and performed under my direction), other than that it is mostly original. This car is supposedly 1 of 50 with leather (and it sure is supple and not cracked) and console. I have all the documentation on this jewel (window sticker, dealer paperwork, records since new). Car has been in Texas its entire life. No rust on the body anywhere. I drive the car 1 – 2 times per week. It is garaged at home and at work. AC blows ice cold.

Original Parts that go with the car but are no longer on it:
  • Spark Plugs
  • Plug Wires
  • Original Wheels
  • Original Tires (they are shot)
  • Original Chip
Parts that have been replaced or changed (all components have less than 1k on them):
  • NOS Front Bumper Fillers
  • Fiberglass Rear Fillers
  • Jay Carter 93 Octane Chip
  • MSD Plug Wires / NGK Plugs
  • New Gas Tank / Sender / Fuel Pump
  • Headliner and Sunvisors (ABS) – I believe I have the original visors somewhere in the garage
  • New KYB Shocks front and rear
  • Freshly Restored GTA Wheels (4 Fronts) with original center caps
  • New Firestone Tires
  • All new NOS emblems (not installed)
  • NOS Power Antenna (not installed – antenna is currently stuck up)
  • Llumar Air 80 Clear Window Tint
  • Turbo and UpPipe Hoses (i think I have the originals but they are worn)
  • Original owner replaced the fuel injectors at one point - stock spec
Pictures speak for themselves and I can take many more. Only problems with the car - not ecstatic with the headliner fit, if I end up keeping it I will end up re-doing it and the rear left speaker is going. That's it! Keep in mind I am super anal when it comes to my cars.

Thanks! Looks like you got a ton done on that beauty. How's it been running?

When I actually get to drive it, she runs fine. Had to put her up for a little overseas work. Still up in the air if I want to make it a daily or throw the cage back in.
