Subwoofer break-in?

Just how loud should I avoid playing the tunes for during this "break in" period of 20 hrs that I hear about? The subs are Infinity 1020w's

Anything below deafening should be okay in the car.

Are they in a box? If not, a bit lower than deafening.

First you have to make sure the amps are all warmed up. Then turn it up intil the speakers clip, then back a notch. Its kind of like turning up the boost intil you get knock.

If you think they are loud now, wait till they are broken in. Heard of gains of 5-10 db once that rubber loosens, atleast on mine
