anyone have any opinions on these? i don't see there being any problems, its a few pieces of metal welded together.

my real question is are there any cheaper ways of getting a dump pipe, $27 isn't bad but if i can get one for less then i'd like to do that. jegs is $28, already checked there.

and what about those electric vlaves, they look pretty cool but how do they hold up?

HEY WHAT DO WAL-MART ROLLERBLADES AND A PERSON THAT WONT PAY $25 FOR A DUMP HAVE IN COMMON? THEY ARE BOTH CHEAPSKATES. BUY THE DUMP. HAHAHAHA

That's the cutout I'm running. Cheap, and it does the job. :)

Do the electric cut out, you'll love it and get major cool points at local cruise-ins. Easy to install, I'll post the link for the best priced one later if no one else replies with it.

i really do like the electric exhausts cutouts, coolness factor they get a 10!

cheapskate!!!! so....:D

i just got my exhaust cutout pipe from summit today, sure was cheap, $35 with shipping. looks cheap too! the welds look like a 2 year old did them, make that a 2 year old monkey, not a big deal you'll never see it anyways. the bad part is the main tube (for regulat exhaust) has an almost rectangular hole cut in it for the cutout to flow though, not fitted at all. i spent almost an hour with a die grinder reshaping it so it will flow the way it should. dirt cheap price, but expect a lot of work with it.

i'd do it again.

I got a very nice stainless piece from Aggressive Auto. Beautiful piece no imperfections price is alitte higher though.

I would go with the cutout from buickgn.com better piece and why not support a Buick vendor.

i'd love to have one, but going fast is a little more important than being cool right now, man are they cool though!

either alky or a new torque converter next :D high 12's or bust! i guess it would be blow up from the boost, but same idea.

Your results may vary but other than making more noise. Tthe dump on my car (THDP) didn't improve my times at the track in back to back to back runs.

If you have a good exhaust you probably don't need it, unless you want the noise IMHO.

All of the summit branded parts I have bought over the years have been a disaster........every one. Just my experience.

i uncaped my exhaust at the track twards the end of the year last year and i had great experences with it, i droped about 2 10ths, i'd say thats worth it. i'm hoping for the same results with the cutout although it won't be quite as effecient as dumping straight out of the down pipe.
