Want to buy a pair of sun visors for an '87GN hardtop. Color grey. Passenger side with lighted vanity mirror .

Rick

I might have a set for sell, if I ever get the passenger side I ordered from G Body parts 2 1/2 months ago. I installed a new headliner in the car, and went ahead and purchased a set of refurbished visors form them. In hindsight it would have been more cost effective to have mine recovered, it would have saved a lot of time also. The ones that come out of the car are in good shape, the fabric does have a little sag, but not much. I don't know if you are wanting a mint set or not, because these are not. They are however very nice. I don't really know what they are worth, like yourself I looked for a spare set with no luck. I may have to wind up getting my passenger side recovered, it looks like GBody parts may not come through.

Josh don't give up on us yet we did call the upholstry shop twice today. Never had such a problem with this until we moved to NC. We have been thru 12 shops since we have been down here . This one is 3 hours away from us.

Nobody want to do those lighted visors. I had a talk with my upholstery place he told me the hard part is getting the machine to go through the plastic housing on the lighted visors. I'm going to be ordering some headliner material from a company that sent me a couple of books of swatches. I can't believe how many Grey's there are!!!
Once I get it I'm going to send the visor to my aunt who does quilting for a living. She should have the patience to do it up. I can see how most places don't want to be bothered by re doing them.

Josh,

Thanks for the offer however looking for a set in better condition.

Good luck getting your visors recovered.

Regards
Rick
