i have to say today was very cool.. there were alot of fast cars but the group of us only wanted to see Bob's Twin Turbo run.. Lou was the Driver and Bob was the crew team .. 4 runs all in the low 8's.. i think the best was 8.30 at 169mph .. Congrads Bob and Lou..

I saw Nordy and Wicked walking the other way in the pits when I first got there. I guess I should have asked them where the GN was pitted at. I ended up spending about an hour looking for it before finaly giving up. I did see the car go down the track though. Looked like it hooked up, stayed in the groove, and had a clean eight second pass. So Lou, How did it run? What did it 60'? I would have liked to have seen the GN run against that old Corvette Stingray funny car. I think it was running mid eights.

It was a fun day...

Dude... it was nutz in the pit area.. they were parked ALL the way at the end of the 1/4, right near the tech shed.. there was a SWEET 56 black chevy right next to Bob's diesel..

Some great pictures,I was actually disappointed that the car didn't run quicker. A TT v/8 car that won't run at least into the seven's is an embarrassment in my opinion.Found out on the last pass that the trans was slipping. I'm trying to talk Bob into a rossler 400 but he's listening to others & wants to put a two speed glide into a very heavy chassis.

Yes Len! that's my old car, Bob the owner has forbidden any sheep stickers Or any endorsements from the American Nazi party. I'm rather devastated over this. But my sacrifices must continue as I have no other form of entertainment.

I bought an 03 TT Porsche & have no intention of working on it. I needed something a little slower to drive on Sundays than my Stage II Regal.

I got a prius I'll trade you for that porshce Its a real slow sunday driver haha! And she gets 50mpg to boot. Shes a cheap date. Great seeing you run low 8's Lou, good job holding it together. That is quite impressive!

Ask nordy, he said that in the stands when we were watching you before your 3rd run. Me and mike thought he was crazy and kept insisting low 8's is just as admirable as 7's. But nope, he said exactly what you just said, 8-11's are for bitches and only 7's are impressive hahahaha.
