Just bought '93 Olds TS with supercharger and want to get ALL the fluids changed. How do I locate the where the oil is for the charger and how do I change it, AND, what do I change it with?

Is ther a source for tech manuals that cover this type of stuff? I've never found it in the Haynes/Chiltons I've looked at foe the '98.

Thanks,
Bohnz

GM has a specific oil for the supercharger, I don't know the p/n but should be readily available at your friendly Buick dealer. If you want a factory manual try www.helminc.com (original source for GM), not sure if available that far back. If nothing else ask somebody at the service dept when you get your oil.

If it's a GM S/C 3800, there is an allen-bolt on the top near the snout of the supercharger. I think you will have to pull off the injector sight shield to access it.

You will have to pump out the old oil, some guys use a pump from a liquid soap dispenser. I've heard it is somewhat toxic, so you don't want to get it all over your hands.

Re-fill with two bottles of GM S/C oil PN 12345982.

AeroShell turbine oil is excellent for the m90 supercharger. the s/c oil from GM is JUNK. I have been running turbine oil now for a year with the turbine oil still remaining clear.....VERY GOOD anti-friction lube.
