Any survivor fans out there? Tonight was the first night of this season and there are some of the best lookin b##ches I have seen on this show.I like the one from arkansas, check her out!

Gay? If there is a rock band with that name, they must be real popular, never heard of them! You probably watch will and grace and get your nuts off!!

OH. Survivor the tv show. That's gay. Thought you were talking about the rock ban.
LOL! I was thinking of the band, too.

I'm gonna guess most people on this board would associate "Survivor" with the band before they would the TV show, if for no other reason than the age demographic that is likely predominate here. And yes, they were fairly popular in the 1980s.

Eye Of The Tiger (Rocky III Theme Song - Probably their biggest hit)

Burning Heart

High On You

The lead singer also did the "Real American Heroes / Men Of Genius" Budweiser commercials. :D

As far as the TV show goes, I have hated it since a local guy was on there and finished second a few years back. He was such a douche canoe. Clay Jordan I believe was his name. The guy thought he was Nick Cage or something after his run on that show. LOL!

This is true red baron. We're mostly all mid 30's and up on this board. Survivor wasn't a bad band.

And InHock, I actually watch will and grace. Just bought the 4th season from the PX. And? lol. They're hilarious.
Though of course, you're probably thinking "that's a homo show, so he must be homo, hehehe." No, not really. No homos allowed in the Army.
At my age, and the age of most of the adults on this board, those predispositions, trends, and judgements were usually left in high school, when we took on greater responsibilities, and realized that in the real world, where you have to get a job and fend for yourself, and the big bills introduce themselves to you, that noone really gives a **** about the brand of jeans you got on, the kind of radio in your car, or the types of tv shows people watch. Noone has any spare time, money, or energy enough to be worrying about that petty little **** anymore. We're too focused on other stuff at this point in our lives, son. So if your peers still judge you, by the television shows you watch, then you still have a little bit to go in your life there junior. That's fine, because we all go through it at some point.

J RED BARON and Turbo6Smackdown, I did listen to the music of the 60s growing up and some of the 70s but changed to country music because they had a local dance club here that was bringing in the top names in country entertainers so I just did not listen to the 70s and 80s stuff you are refering to. I guess you can see I am not a youngen anymore,I am 56years young! Now D J I know clay pretty good and he has done alot with his"celebrity status" here in my home town. He has raised alot of money for a couple of charities and Is very well recieved here. Hell, I even have people think worse of me than a "douche canoe" and I really dont give a rats ass what they think!!! :D Turbo6Smackdown, how old are you? You must be older than me to call me "Junior!"

Years lived, does not constitute wisdom, maturity, or the friends we keep. One can be 70, and still be silly, or have stupid friends. It's possible to grow old, but not up. :)

Hey Turbo6Smackdown, your a wise old bird and you tell it like it is!! Never met you but I will tell you I like your attitude, you keep me wondering what you will say next!! Keep Smiling!

A big Survivor here, watched the show as well last night. It looks like it will be an interesting season.

Now the Rock Band - Survivor, they were from my hay day but they suck. ;)

Hmm... Well, hopefully Clay has chilled a bit. The few times I was around him, he was a complete ass and possibly the most self-impressed person I had ever been around. Survivor "fame" went to his head was the only rational explanation I could come up with. Maybe he changed once he realized that being a Survivor "star" wasn't really all that impressive after all.

So where is he calling "home" these days? He lived in Monroe, LA for a long time.

It was cool at first but now it has gotten old...

He still lives in Monroe,La. I guess he may of got the "star status" after the show but he doesnt seem to have that attitude now.

No, I live in a small town close to Ft.Smith Ar. in Oklahoma and Clay has some relatives who live here.He was here 2 weeks ago because one of his relatives got married and they had there reception at my hotel. My wife and I visited with clay and his wife several times during his stay {4 days} and they are very down to earth and seem to be real nice people.
