swooshing sound

just installed a th350 with 10" converter. trans works great but when I put it in gear fwd or rev. it makes a swooshing sound. sounds like a huge exhaust leak on the ex. side of turbo.

looked at car this morning. it doesn't do it when it's cold. only after warming up and driving. I only hear noise when I break boost. could I be hearing the exhaust from the turbo?
never had a turbo car with a loose converter.
