T-44 wastegate hole??

Does anyone know how big the hole should be for the wasgate.I just bought a refurbished 44 and the hole measures 1.040.Thanks for any input

As big as it needs to be to control the boost. Thats a reasonable size hole for an aftermarket dp with a larger than stock puck
