Thought I said the heads would be installed after bench testing? This is before release for sale, sorry.

These heads are an "improved" design over the M&A's which have run at 40 psi many times. All I really need to check is actual flow numbers and physical fit since the valve cover gasket rail has been raised. Most of the increase in material/strength is inside.

Nick, would it be safe to assume that the raised rails on the heads are for better leak protection?
Would it be also safe to say that the same raised rails for the valve covers would allow for the use of stock valve covers and still clear aftermarket rockers?
Is it also possible to fit larger intake valves to the 14 bolt eliminator heads than the 1.94" spec valves supplied?
these heads sound good.
I'll have to get a set for the new engine.:)

Hi, Does anyone know how much the new heads are going to cost?
Last i heard the block was $3500 is this true?

Thank you.

I do appreciate that TA Performance has taken the time to make this alum block. But I do agree with "Intercooler" about real world testing. We the consumer would like to see some actual numbers or a completed block build and running and see if it performs like the ad advertises. I do believe it will produce the numbers that is on paper but this will put alot of prospect buyers at rest. I personally would want one but I need to see what happens when the block is put to the test in the higher horsepower level as the Stage 2 block. I guess I just need to wait and see how this first batch of blocks do with all the good internals.:)

Exactly, I'll be doing the same thing. See how this years early batch goes and who is puting them to the test and how they live up to the high expectations for them. Then, if they do survive some high horsepower tests, I'll place an order next year sometime. Good questions guys, keep them coming.

I'd like to give TA performance a high five just for doing this project. I can't afford those parts right now but I would definatly look their way for other parts. Thanks Nick!

You would be surprised, what kind of experience Brick has over a wide spectuem of cars. He has the money to have a professional mechanic do work on his car, and not have to worry about doing "shake tree" mechanic work like yourself.

No but more of an expert than you Jerky! Christ, you don't even build your own motors or do any of your own wrenching so back under your rock. Didn't need your comments at all. Funny how someone that hasn't even ran out of the 12's talks ****

For someone to talk sh)it about et's, I would expect you to have one in you sig. Or maybe for all the money and wrenching time you have put in, you're still in the 11's with a sure fire 10 sec. combo. :D

..Also let me say the arguement that if you don't wrench on your motor means you know nothing about motors is gay. You think John Force wrenches on his motor between passes, I don't think so. But does that mean, he is a moron?? Nope.

Case closed.

Nick,

For those of us on a budget looking to build a 10 second street/strip car it might make sense to buy the TA block and build it with stock internals. Do you have any kind of a guess as far as HP levels that might be reliably achieved if one was to build the TA block with stock TR internals, and top it off with the new TA heads?

Ya, it was a little birdie telling you things, that you mindlessly repeated, that was negative.

People have enough brains around here to ask the guestions they figure are important, and don't need a self elected spokesperson. If you have a legit guestion, and are considering being a customer, fine, speak up, anything less then that and your just flaming, or trolling for an arguement.

And tis nice how you seem to hide your nonsense with deleting the threads, posts, where you get so out of tune, with the Fast with Class Idealology.

On a side note:

I am going to build a 1600 HP motor to see how far I can shove it up your ass :D

Real class DuDe.
Nice to see someone in such full control of their emotions.
Have you ever heard of Fast with Class?.
Or intelligent conversation?.

I'd hope a moderator wakes up and gets tired of your contributions.

That kind of language and personal attacks are totally uncalled for and wont be allowed. You've been a member of this board for a while now, and should know better. Tone down the language, rhetric and personal attacks. It has no place here. If you're really ticked, then may I suggest you just walk away from the board for a few days, cool down and then come back in with a level head, and contribute something constructive.

Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Well I asked a simple question and got all grief from Brick, Bruce, etc... No need for that either. Sorry for saying ass. I tried to be constructive but when attacked I will fire back. I didn't know ass was such a bad word but now I do. If you are going to chime in then do so to all parties involved making these statements and not just me! Thanks for your attention!

A Thoroughly Important & Pertinent Question

Give it a break,
I only gave you **grief**, after your posting of the shove it comment.
There was nothing constructive in that posting, nothing.

The object of most boards, and I would assume this one is the free trade of ideas and info., firing back I'd expect on some lesser lists.

Ass in and of it's self isn't a *bad* word, it was the entire phrase you used.
BTW, you were the only one stepping out of bounds.

Sorry to be preaching, but, it just seems you aren't getting it.

Bruce,
Clean your glasses buddy your old age is making you not see things clearly! Actually Brick erased his early comment that got this all started. I don't need that crap and it was uncalled for. You too! You are just jumping on a bandwagon with the others which is fine but I will give rebuttle if "firing back" doesn't work for you.

Sorry, but again, your missing the point it was YOUR response that was totally out of line.

As an adult one is expected to take responsibility for his actions, and get beyond knee jerk reactions, like you did.
Feel free to get past the Joey, did so and so, attitude.
It was just YOUR language that generated any comments, from me. If you had mantained a civil tongue, you'd not have heard a peep from me.

As far as what I've done, all I've done is asked you to try and act in a civil manner. If that's *c--p* in your book, so be it, and it's your problem.

That's right so shove off. Why in the world would we need you to chime in with more of your worthless banter? You obviously still missed the "first" comment AGAIN and really need to make an appointment tomorrow with the eye doctor. I think what is left of your noodle is going South!
