T.C. Suggestions

Tranny needs a rebuild. Figured a new TC would be a good idea, but I don't have a clue as to which one.
I have a hybrid turbo which is a bit bigger than a GT3255.
87 GN - which is mostly a street car and sometimes strip.
A good price is always on my "frugal" mind.

we can set you up with a converter but i need more info on the turbo and combo.i am not familiar with that turbo.please be speciftic about horsepower potential of turbo as well as engine cam and mods and intended usage.

Not trying to be secretive, Chris.
All I know is that I have a hybrid turbo that is a bit bigger than a GT3255.
All the innards on the engine are stock.
Head have never been off.
ATR downpipe, 50s, turbotweek (sp?) chip, and alky.
This new combo has never been down the strip, so don't know about the top end. 23#s of boost seems to be fine for me screwing around on the back roads now.
Before the new stuff was added I was in the high 12s (stock turbo, etc.)
It runs real good, but tranny is now flaring on shifts and I don't want to hurt anything.
Thinking maybe 3000 - 3200 stall?
I dunno.
