The pass. side t-top is loose on a car I'm working on. It's mainly the back pin that has the play. The receiver hole on the body is tight. Is there a way to adjust the pins on the t-top itself (as in move them up)?

The car is an '87 with factory tops. The weather stripping is in good shape.'

TIA!

Yep...take top off and look at area around pin...should be 2 small bolts...maybe 3...holes are slotted for adjustment...be very careful when tightening those...they go into the plastic(or whatever material it is) molded part and can be stripped easily...

Take the plastic off of the inside then reinstall the the handle. Loosen the slides that hold the pins. Install the t-top on the car and lock in the pins. Have someone push down on the t-top while you tighten the screws. This way you dont over do it or have to keep trying a bunch of times. Hope this helps. Jeremy

Thanks guys! When I get some help tomorrow, I will do this.
